Use your android phone as webcam via WI-FI

     Do you want a web cam that you can carry around the house. Well you can turn your android phone into a wireless web cam. Want to know how follow the instruction.

You need to install

     Before we can begin you will need to install the following

• Install IP Webcam on your phone from google play store. This turns your phone into a wireless camera (IP camera)
•  Install IP camera adapter on your pc. this turns any IP camera into a webcam.

Now lets begin

• First make sure that you phone and pc are connected to the sme network
• Now open IP webcam app on your phone

 You will find a bunch of options. you can customize according to your wish. my only recommendation is that   you choose 320X240 as resolution if your going to use it as webcam

• now click start server at the bottom now you phone is functioning as a IP camera.

• Now You will find your ip adress on the bottom if you are connected to a network.
• and at the top right hand cornet you will find action by selecting this option you can stop the server or turn on LED lights if your camera has any.
• If you want to see if it is working on your pc open web browser and go to the IP address that was on the bottom of your phone display.

Now click open stream in media player(you will VLC media player for this) if you can see the the object in-front of your camera then it is working.

• Now on your pc click on configure IP camera adapter . you can find this in your stat menu if you have already installed IP camera adapter

• In the window that has opened enter your IP address followed by /video on the camera url and enter user name and password if you have added any on your phone
• that is it now your phone is acting as web cam.
