Transfer files via WI-FI between android phones or devices

DO you find yourself in need of transferring large files which may be a video or audio or any type of file(even the ones that are not supported by you android device) between two android phones or devices but you don't want to take too much time sending it through blue-tooth then just do it through WI-FI. It is much faster. If you don't know how let me show one of the easy way.
  •  First install "Fast file transfer" app in the android device from which you need to send the file. You can easy find this app on Google play store and it is free so don't hesitate.
  •  You don't need to install this app in both the device only install it in the device from which you wish to send the file
  • Then launch the app on the phone that you need to send the file from.It will prompt you to enter a device name. Name it what ever you want.

  • You don't need a password but i have chosen to give a password.then save it and exit. you can change device name and password any time lust launch the app again and in the option select setting and change them.
  • Then open file explorer or file manager any thing (if you don't have a file manager in your device. You can download one from Google play store there are many to choose from)Now find file you want to transfer then select share (long press the fine and select share) Your device will show a list of options to choose from select "fast file transfer" from the list.
  • You will see some thing very similar on your screen.you wont see the info about screen shoot being re-enabled that is just some thing on my device sorry for that.
  • now the device will start a WI-FI net work on the name and password you have entered earlier.
  • And it will show an IP address on the bottom.

On the device in which you want to receive the file

  •  connect the device in which you need to receive the file to the WI-FI network of the device that is sending the file. Using the device name and password.

  • Now open the web browser (use the default browser don't use opera mini or any other browser they may not work) and enter the IP address you saw on the other device on the address bar.

  • As soon as you press go the download will start and the file will be transfer at great speed (Well greater that that of blue-tooth)

  • mean while you will see some thing similar on the device which is sending the file.

I tried this app on many Phones they all work just fine.
You will find the transferred file on the download file of the receiving devices sd-card.
