Transfer files via WI-FI between android phones or devices

     DO you find yourself in need of transferring large files which may be a video or audio or any type of file(even the ones that are not supported by you android device) between two android phones or devices but you don't want to take too much time sending it through blue-tooth then just do it through WI-FI. It is much faster.If you don't know how let me show one of the easy way.

•  First install "Fast file transfer" app in the android device from which you need to send the file.You can easy find this app on Google play store and it is free so don't hesitate.
•  You don't need to install this app in both the device only install it in the device from which you wish to send the file
• Then launch the app on the phone that you need to send the file from.It will prompt you to enter a device name. Name it what ever you want.

Use your android phone as webcam via WI-FI

     Do you want a web cam that you can carry around the house. Well you can turn your android phone into a wireless web cam. Want to know how follow the instruction.

You need to install

     Before we can begin you will need to install the following

• Install IP Webcam on your phone from google play store. This turns your phone into a wireless camera (IP camera)
•  Install IP camera adapter on your pc. this turns any IP camera into a webcam.

Now lets begin

• First make sure that you phone and pc are connected to the sme network
• Now open IP webcam app on your phone

how to stream between your android phone and pc

           I have been looking for an app that enable me to stream between my phone and PC, most of the apps out there only does one of the either they stream video from phone to PC or they stream video from PC to phone but I wanted an app that can do both and finally I came across VLC direct which satisfied my needs so had to share this with you all this is how it works
          VLC direct can operate as remote control to VLC player.so this is pretty good app the best thing is that it is free.

Requirements:
      For streaming the video between your phone and PC, you will require

• both your PC and your phone needs to be on the same network
• you have to have VLC media player installed in your PC
• now install VLC direct on your android phone or tablet from play store

Now you are ready to configure your app

Configuration:
     For configuring your VLC player you can download a script(VLCDIRECT.bat).

   download the script here

make sure to run the script as admin (right click on it and click "run as admin")

 If you prefer you can do it manually for this follow the steps

• Go to C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\http
• Open the .hosts file using word pad

you will find the following lines
 # private addresses
#fc00::/7
#fec0::/10
#10.0.0.0/8
#172.16.0.0/12
#192.168.0.0/16
#169.254.0.0/16

remove the # in the front to change them to

 # private addresses
fc00::/7
fec0::/10
10.0.0.0/8
172.16.0.0/12
192.168.0.0/16
169.254.0.0/16

that is it you can now start
first start VLC player in your PC then enable web interface.
You will have to enable it every time.

Now launch the VLC direct app on your android device make sure that your device is connected to the same network as your PC
You can either click on option and click on automatic connection wizard or click in the monitor and click connect to VLC.

Now click start the app will search and connect to your VLC player on your PC

When it connects you will see this on your pc now you are ready to start streaming video on your PC to android device or stream from android to PC

to stream video to your PC from your android device just click the clip board which and select a video fie you want to stream to your PC
When you start streaming you will find the volume control on top and video control on the bottom of your phone
You can also stream audio by clicking on the head phone and selecting a audio file

This app can also be used as remote control to your VLC media player. to do so just click on the monitor and select the video or audio file from the computer's hard drive and yous the audio and video controls on top and bottom to control the vlc player
If the controls are not satisfactory press option and choose DVD control this provides much better control

To stream video or audio file from computer to the android device just click on the target on the top left hand corner of your android device
you can now see that the VLC symbol has changed into android symbol now select the file to be streamed from the computer's hard drive
